Three experts in their respective fields — Matthew in Supply Chain, Marius in Tax and Transfer Pricing, and Per in Sourcing and Procurement — will share their insights on the immediate and medium-term actions required to address the new tariffs introduced by the Trump administration.

Short background of the speakers:

Matthew Burton is a seasoned supply chain professional with extensive experience in digital supply chain and operations transformation. Matthew is the EMEIA Supply Chain and Operations leader at EY. He has led supply chain transformation projects at multiple blue chip products and services companies across EMEIA. He now primarily focuses on helping clients harness the power of industry 4.0 – from creating an adaptive agile mindset willing to test new ideas, through to practical application of disruptive technologies helping clients reinvent their supply chain for the digital world.

Marius Leivestad is one of Norways leading transfer pricing advisors, with over 25 years experience in EY working full time with Transfer Pricing and Operating model designs. Marius is the Nordic Tax Supply Chain Leader. He was also the Head of the EY TP and International tax practice in Africa from 2017-2020. The long and focused career within transfer pricing and operating model design has provided Marius with a unique insight and experience across multiple industries and geographies, and more importantly, a deep understanding on the importance of aligning the business with the underlying tax and legal structure to effectively manage and optimize the supply chain and associated risks and opportunities.

Per Svanberg is the leader of the Nordic Sourcing & Procurement practice at EY. With 30 years of experience in sourcing and procurement across various industries, Per has spent 20 years in consulting and 10 years in line management roles, including Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) and production manager. His expertise encompasses a diverse range of areas, including procurement strategy development, operating model and organizational design, sourcing of direct, indirect and capex categories, process improvements, system selection and implementation, sustainability, and more recently, the application of Generative AI in procurement.
