Developing Mindsets for the Future and Competences for Resilience
What we will cover
This 45-minute webinar takes a timely look at how multiple interconnected crises are reshaping SCM’s role by increasing pressure on professionals, teams, leadership and stakeholders. In the first part, we connect the unfolding polycrisis to the current disruptions, regulatory pressure, geopolitical volatility, sustainability demands, and growing complexity that results in everyday “firefighting”-realities of supply chain professionals.
Building on this framework, we offer a high-level perspective on the skills, mindsets, team practices and organizational structures that are increasingly needed to respond effectively. Among them are resilience skills, team competences for volatile and ambiguous environments, antifragility as well as paradox thinking and sustainability competences. Underlying all of this is a paradigm shift from a mechanistic view of a SC as a complicated, ordered and controllable system, to a view that understands SCs as adaptive, complex, and dynamic living systems.
The webinar combines the practical experience of a professional business coach and facilitator with the academic expertise of two university teachers and researchers in supply chain management, all experienced in sustainability mindset development and climate literacy. It is designed for professionals who want a fresh orientation, new language, and actionable impulses for strengthening future readiness in their organizations.
